Making Projects Reality: How the “Build America Bureau” Can Help

If you are a public agency, partnering with one, or looking for more options to deliver projects in your area, you should find out more about the Build America Bureau.

Part of the U.S. Department of Transportation since 2016, the Bureau provides technical assistance to project sponsors and developers who are considering alternative delivery methods and innovative financing to deliver their projects.  In this session, Bureau officials will brief ARTBA members on available resources to assist the delivery of projects through existing programs, as well as newer efforts, including those authorized in the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA). 

The Bureau will also look ahead to potential new technical assistance programs and other activities intended to develop good projects while leveraging private investment with local, state, and federal resources.

Attendees will also hear a federal legislative update from our government affairs team, including the latest on IIJA implementation.
